This is currently being marketed in the Malaysia/Singapore area in an Amway manner.
Answer:
my chiropractor uses it too and recommends for his clients, which turn good results.
I asked him where to get some, he gave me address below it that helps?
It is very expensive. We drank one bottle of it and didn't see any difference in our health. Didn't buy any more of it.You drink an ounce 1/2 hour before food, It doesn't taste bad, really has little taste. The link provides info from the company we bought it from.
Probably a big con. Mangosteen is a tropical fruit. Its rinds are used to make lipstick. Its color fast so don't let that get on your shirt. Local believes its yin effect balance the yang in eating durian, another malodorous fruit.
this juice has changed my life. I no longer need to take some of the medicines i did, and my quality of life is better.
It wasn't the amway brand though. It is one of over 200 spin offs of xango. That is the only one that uses the ENTIRE fruit so all of the xanthones work synergisticly. I am a customer of xango and will be for a long time.
for those of you who think i am saying this because it is set in a multi level marketing style (aloe was too, that didn't make any less popular) I am going to prove you guys wrong by saying where ever you get xango from, it will be the most important decision you will make. For reasons i mentioned, and so one wont think im just looking to make a fast buck, i wont even leave my website. Xango is popular BECAUSE IT WORKS! you are bound to find someone that can get it for you.The use of the fruit for centuries in all parts of world is enough for me to believe and use this product. One cant lie about the research. And yes there are no "double blind studies" because they only do those on DRUGS... paid for by the drug companies (hmmm?)just look at pubmed.gov and search mangosteen and xanthones or garcinone E (a element in pericarp of mangosteen recognized for outperforming chemotherapy drugs in recent tests)------------------------------
JASON: powerful testimony thanks for sharing
I have used XanGo for a year and a half now. A friend told me about it who was using it to help reduce her sickness caused by the chemo she was going through. I noticed my triglycerides were lowering (from 1600!) just taking lipitor lowered about 20 to 30 points a month. After the 3rd month i started using XanGo and with out changing diet ( my practitioner said my diet was healthy it was genetics that gave me the short end of the deal!) 2oz 3 times a day of the XanGo, along with my lipitor: month 4, trigs reduced 75 points, month 5: another 80... I got weened off the lipitor and still drop 60 to 80 a month and am lower than i have been in a long time... I ask ByeDr.com to not delete this because I am simply excercising my 1st amendment to personal testimony.
This is real and I hope one day that more people take it seriously one day. A fruit from nature shouldn't have to go through double blind studies to be taken seriously, especially since this fruit has been used for hundreds of years. look on the back of your juice, and back of XanGo. per usda regulations the main ingredient goes first. on back of many you may see water, or extracts. This company is the only one to use the ENTIRE (including all of the pericarp) Fruit. Not just part, or the white center.
The reason for the other fruits put in there, they are simply SMALL amounts mainly put in for flavoring because the pericarp itself has a bitter taste to it. The flavoring helps it to taste better (which i love especially on ice). To show im not telling just for the "money" I am not going to give my website. There are plenty of people you can get xango from. hope this helps

Can you help me count calories = weight burned?
If I burn 750 calories per week, how many weeks would it take me to lose 40lbs etc? Thanks!!
Answer:
1 pound is equivalent to 3500 calories, so if you burn 750 calories per week MORE than you consume then you would be losing a little less than 1 pound per month. that means it would take you about 3 years and 7 months to lose 40lbs.3500calories /750 calories per week = 4.7 weeks.4.7 weeks x 40 pounds = 188 weeks188 weeks/52 = 3.6 years or 3 years and 7 months.(to lose 40 pounds). Most people want to lose a LOT of weight in a really short period of time, but it's actually a lot more effective to lose just a little bit of weight over a longer period of time because it gives your body a lot of time to adjust to the weight loss and it will be a lot easier to keep that weight off.Anyway, this is how it works in simple terms. The amount of food you eat minus the amount of energy you burn will equal the amount of weight you lose (or gain). If you look up on calories on the internet, or look for the amount of calories in food, you will find thousands of sites that will list the amount of calories in food.A glass of coke (250ml) has roughly 100 calories. So, if you normally drink a coke every day and switch to water you'll have a net loss of 1 pound every 5 weeks. If you add to that walking at a normal pace 1 hour, 3 times a week you burn about 750 calories, (give or take depending on your current body weight). So, by drinking water instead of coke, and walking 3 times a week you would lose about 2 pounds every 5 weeks.HOWEVER.that's assuming that your current diet is niether gaining nor losing calories. If your normal diet is GAINING calories every day, then doing those things would slow down the weight gain by 2 pounds...so if you are gaining 1 pound every 5 weeks and do the above things mentioned, you would really only lose a net of 1 pound per week.WHEW...But, you need to start somewhere!
Genius, depends how many calories you take in too. if you take in 5000 and only burn 750, you are still fat. if you only take in 1200 you are anorexic.
sure 1 calorie 2 calories 3 -4-5-6-7-8-9- wow a lot.
It's not that simple. What do you mean "burn" 750 calories? Do you mean you are eating exactly the same amount, but exercising the equivalent of 750 calories more? Do you mean your physical activity is the same, but you are taking in 750 less calories? Are you getting the right balance of nutrients? Enough, but not too much water? Unfortunately, weight loss/gain is not as simple as just changing caloric intake/output.
it depends on how many calories you are taking in, how much you weigh, your metabolic rate, etc. you need to provide more in-depth information to your question or it can't be answered :o(
There are approx. 3,500 calories in each pound of fat in your body. That means you must burn an EXTRA 3,500 calories to see a reduction in body weight.3,500 cal/pound x 40 cal/week = 140,000 calories needed to be burned.140,000 / 750 cal/week = 187 weeks. That's about 3 and a half years at that exercise level. Try and get out and work out more often to get those calorie levels to about 1,000+ burned per week to see quicker results.
Do you mean 1500 per day? I don't know how in the world you can live on that many a week. What are you doing to burn 750 calories?
If you want to count calories and compare it to what you burn let me introduce you to your new best friend:

Answer:
Question - how do i grow tall? please tell me some advice or exercise.
Answer:
I'm sorry but there is no exercise for making you taller. You are
genetically programmed to be a certain height. That was determined before
you were born. There are a few factors that make you NOT reach your
genetically programmed height, such as diet and the way your mother took care
of herself when she was pregnant. For instance, if you were supposed to be
5'6" and you didn't get the right diet when you were growing ( which you
probably still are!) or your mother drank, smoked and had a bad diet while
she was pregnant with you, you may not reach 5'6". You might be shorter.
But there isn't anything you can do to make yourself TALLER than you were
supposed to be. Take heart-you are only 14 and you will probably still grow
a little bit. Have you started you period yet? I ask this because girls
usually stop growing about a year after their period begins.Van Hoeck

Question:
My son is 16 and about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He keeps asking if there's anything he can do to become taller.
– Chris
Answer:
Taking care of himself — eating well, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of rest — is the best way to help his body reach its natural potential. But assuming his diet is normal and he has no medical problems, there's no magic pill or formula or nutritional supplement for increasing height. In fact, his genes are the major determinant of how tall he'll be.Most teens can expect to grow a total of about 7 to 10 inches during puberty before they reach full adult height. Each person is a little different, so everyone starts and goes through puberty on his or her body's own schedule. Those who start a little later than their friends will usually continue to grow a little later, too.If you're concerned about your son's growth, talk with his doctor

Avoid scams that say if you buy their product, you will be taller, it’s so not true!NO WAY TO GROW TALLER AFTER PUBERTY
Gabe Mirkin, M.D.
Web sites for products such as "HeightGrowth" are so unbelievable that the people who wrote them must be laughing as they steal people's money for totally worthless products.
They tell you that if you take HeightGrowth, you will continue to grow until you are as tall as you like, at any age. If that were true, we would see people who are 15 feet tall and basketball would be an entirely different sport.
Bones do not grow throughout their length. They grow from growth centers, called the epiphysis, near their ends. When a person reaches puberty, growth centers close one after the other until all the growth centers are closed forever and a person's bones can never grow again. After that, a person can grow wider, but not taller.
Even before a person reaches puberty, the product will have absolutely no effect on growth. The ad claims that HeightGrowth is made of a special mixture of herbs and minerals, and lists 23 plants, many of them vigorous vines such as kudzu, which grows so rapidly that it covers trees and buildings all over the South, and can cross a road overnight. So when you eat kudzu vine and other rampant-growing plants, they want you to believe that you will grow like the vines. Of course this is ridiculous. Kudzu vine grows rapidly because of its genetic structure called DNA. But you cannot absorb DNA from plants or animals that you eat; it is broken down in your stomach and intestines into its nucleic acid building blocks, which have no effect on your own DNA.
The tragedy is that some people will shell out their hard earned money to someone who is making fun of them. They have a 30-day money-back guarantee, even though they recommend that you take their product for six months or more to see results. They know you will probably be too embarrassed to ask for your money back, and people who have tried to get action on similar guarantees report that their money is never returned from these scams.

Can you grow in height without using pills or steroids?
im 15 and i havent really grown in 2 years. what can i actively do to reach the 6 ft mark? im 5'10.
Answer:
well, you will be growing in the next years, what is responsible of the height growth in human being : a hormone called HGH.of course you can get taller if u have more GH in your body, which is synthesised, stored and secreted by the somatotroph cells within the lateral wings of the anterior pituitary gland, which stimulates growth and cell reproduction in humans and other animals.
Height growth in childhood is the best known effect of GH action, and appears to be stimulated by at least two mechanisms.1)GH directly stimulates division and multiplication of chondrocytes of cartilage. These are the primary cells in the growing ends (epiphyses) of children's long bones (arms, legs, digits).
2)GH also stimulates production of insulin-like growth factor 1
100 years ago, the dutch were the shortest people in the world,, after injecting cows with bovine growth hormone (BGH), (in cattle is called so) (passed to the beef and milk) they are now the tallest in the world (beside other reasons)...so being tall is not totally genatic as mentioned in one answer,,
one way is to have that in an injection form ,,and by the way it is not a steroid),,, anyway you do not want to use pills or injections,,, ok lets try something else,,, how can we increase the production of your HGH by a natural way.. there are ways of course,, So, What increase the Heigh growth in the human body (till certain age, best childhood period) : **Stimulators of GH secretion include:growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) from the arcuate nucleus
ghrelin
sleep
exercise
low levels of blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
dietary protein
estradiol
arginine***Inhibitors of GH secretion include:somatostatin from the periventricular nucleus inhibits it.
circulating concentrations of GH and IGF-1 (negative feedback)
dietary carbohydrate
glucocorticoids Not to confuse you, food rich in protein, good sleep, and exercise low gloucose in blood less carbohydrate in food, will increase the production of the HGH naturally,, which means in away :: a healthy way of life : is doing so..and that will increase height (and build muscle as well),, some web sites claim certain herps increase the productions of that hormone ,and some even said listening to certain sounds and music encourage the body to do so,,,, (that was never proven scientificaly)
Yes, you will continue to grow until you are around 25 years old on average, be patient, besides the average height is 5'8. Trust me I'm 6'4 there are some disadvantages to being tall. Try flying in airplanes with no possible way to adjust your legs, having sinks showers, etc built for a 5'8 person most showers usually wash my chest and stomach, etc. Be patient enjoy things as they come and then you can truly enjoy life.
Pills and steroids will NOT help you grow in height. Your height is determined by genetics. You can help yourself reach your full potential height with good nutritional habits, getting plenty of rest, and regular exercise -- all things that help you stay healthy.

Can you go through caffiene withdrawl?
Answer:
are you kidding i know people who will kill for a cup of coffee and if they don't get it they are grumpy and turns into megabitches.
Absolutely. Caffiene withdrawl is miserable. Headaches, irritability, fatigue...
yes, some caffeine withdrawal symptoms are irritable, restless, muscle stiffness, difficulty concentrating, headaches, moderate to severe chills and/or hot spells
Most definitely. The main symptom will be a terrible headache. You'll also be irritable. The best plan is to wean yourself off the caffeine (if you usually drink 2 cups of coffee, Coke or whatever, a day, for example, try going to just one for at least a week before you stop altogether). Taper off according to the amount you're used to now. Believe me, you don't want that headache! Good luck! If you're trying to kick the caffeine, you're doing something great for your health.
Lord yes! The worst symptom is headache, and it's a doozy. You'll also feel tired and sleepy for a few days. Why are you cutting out caffeine? They (doctors and scientists) have pretty much figured out that caffeine in moderation is not bad for you. If you have to stop it, though, good luck to you.
Can you give me suggestions and recipes to loose weight? Please?
(I'm asking this because I'm having a weighty issue. Please help..)
Answer:
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.
Best thing you can do to lose weight is eat healthy foods, 5 to 6 times a day... it helps your metabolism. But eating healthy is nothing unless you exercise. Even a 1/2 hr walk daily will help you.You can try finding some good recipies on this site:
http://www.chatelaine.caIts really important for you to get in the 4 food groups daily. I can also recommend a good book which has lots of great info in it, as well as awesome recipies. "Simply great food" Written by Patricia Chuey, Eileen Campbell and Sue Waisman.Licenced Para medic

hope this helps good luck loosing weight!!;-)
I have worked hard my self and found that the best thing is not try to loose weight, try to be healthy. I lost 89lbs, at first I wanted to be stick thin, then I got really sick and look horrible, I finally got over that. I know now that you have to eat a well balanced meals and exercise. Exerise is very important, you should never do more the 45 mins of cardio, and if you are trying tone, do light weights, and do things a little diff, like instead of fighting to get up front to park, park it and walk, get some friend that will walk the nieghborhood. you know a little more active, but watch out mainly because you need to maintain a positive outlook on this way of life change. Most important Love yourself and know that everything will take time, dont get discouraged, try and be faithful in yourself.
